Hauru Jäteauto Oy (Hauru) is Oulu-based waste transporting company, which has been using biogas as fuel since 2018. Hauru represents a smart recycle logistics company and an innovative player in the circular economy.

The company offers digital smart solutions for waste management contributing to avoiding unnecessary driving and optimizing the waste collection routes. Hauru utilizes Jaete sensors as well as mobile applications in waste collection. The accurate information to be gathered is the filling level of waste bins and recycling rates.

With our wide experience in this field, we can contribute our knowledge to the NOWA project and transfer our competence and know-how across the borders. Hauru’s waste management solutions offer precise and accurate waste management data, which facilitates process optimization and logistics planning.
